FYI -4-NYC
Finding an apartment in New York City can be both exciting and overwhelming. To help you sort through all the information, here are a few tips and some useful links.
What You Will Need
When you are ready to fill out an application for an apartment, most landlords will need you to provide a Letter of Employment or copies of past 2 years tax returns if self-employed, current bank statements and a government issued photo id such as a driver’s license or passport.
What You Should Know
Apartments are unfurnished. Minimum lease term is 12 months. Annual income requirement is 45 times rent. If income requirements are not satisfied by the tenant, a guarantor may be used.
Working with Rose Associates, Inc.
Rose Associates provides on-site marketing, leasing and sales services for building owners. There is never a fee for a rental apartment, all sales bypass the board approval process as we represent the sponsor and all condominiums are new purchases directly from the sponsor. Most properties have an on-site leasing or sales office which is open daily.
